About This Blog

Dear Creative Writing Students, This blog has been created to provide you with a venue for creative self-expression. The name of the blog, originally La Plume, means "The Pen" in the French language. "De La Salle" was added to add a Lasallian identity to our class blog. Why French? The language was chosen in honor of our founder St. Jean-Baptiste De La Salle, who was French. May this semester be a fruitful, productive one for you. Carpe diem!
